Dexter Pierce (Dex) was born in Memphis, Tennessee. Currently, he resides and works in Los Angeles, California.

Dexter Pierce Jr. is a versatile American director, cinematographer, writer, and actor, whose dynamic career spans across multiple facets of the film industry. Dex's passion for storytelling was ignited in his formative years, leading him to pursue a B.A. in Film from the University of Memphis. His academic journey continued at the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, where he earned an MFA in Writing and Directing.

Dexter's expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of visual storytelling, including commercials, music videos, short films, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes videos. This diverse portfolio underscores his ability to adapt and innovate across various mediums, bringing a unique and creative vision to each project. His proficiency in both the technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking allows him to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
